Exchanges / Returns / Refunds

We certainly hope you are happy with your purchase(s), however we understand that not everything works out.  Please read below for Jungle Hippie procedures for exchanges, returns, damaged merchandise and wrong merchandise.

Exchanges / returns / refunds will not be issued on the following:

  • Used and/or damaged merchandise, unless the merchandise was received in a damaged state.
  • Merchandise missing original tags.
  • Worn merchandise.
  • Sale and clearance items.
  • 30 days after the original date of Jungle Hippie merchandise received.

-EXCHANGES-

In the event merchandise needs to be exchanged:

  • All merchandise purchased with Jungle Hippie may be exchanged for store credit only. Money back returns are not accepted unless the received merchandise is damaged or the received merchandise differs from the corresponding invoice. Please see further down this page for damaged and wrong merchandise procedures.
  • The returning merchandise must be in the hands of Jungle Hippie within 30 days of customer receiving their purchase. After the 30-day mark, exchanges are not accepted and customer keeps purchase.

Exchanged merchandise can be returned 2 ways:

OPTION 1: Customer ships item(s) back

  • Customers are responsible for all non-refundable shipping & handling costs associated with the returning package and the shipping of the new, exchanged merchandise.
  • We do not accept C.O.D. deliveries.

STEP 1: Notify Jungle Hippie at info@junglehippie.com of the following information:

  • Your name.
  • Your order number – please put in the subject line of your email.
  • The item(s) being returning.
  • The item(s) you would like to exchange for.

STEP 2: Jungle Hippie will confirm the items you want are in stock, tell you so via email and include the shipping address for your return. 

STEP 3: Customer will ship the returned merchandise to Jungle Hippie.  We do not guarantee that we will receive your return package and highly advise you take precautions such as a purchasing a tracking number and shipping insurance for the return package as we do for your packages.

STEP 4: Customer will notify Jungle Hippie via email that the return is on its way and include a tracking number to ensure safe arrival.

STEP 5: Jungle Hippie will receive and inspect the returned merchandise – tags attached, unworn, no damage. 

  • IF THE MERCHANDISE IS DEEMED NOT RETURNABLE, customer is responsible for the return shipping of their already purchased product(s). Jungle Hippie is not required to attach a tracking number for this package, nor is Jungle Hippie responsible for this package.  Jungle Hippie will notify customer once it is in transit via email.  Please refer to the Exchanges / returns / refunds will not be issued on the following: section at the beginning of this page for guidelines.

STEP 6: AFTER RETURNED MERCHANDISE IS APPROVED, Jungle Hippie will email an invoice for the exchanged merchandise shipping cost.  The exchange shipping cost is based on the amount of the exchange total as though it was a purchase by itself.  For example, if customer purchase a pair of pants at $75 and pays $10 for shipping, but chooses to exchange the pants for another size or another design of pants of equal price, customer pays another $10 shipping on the second, exchange shipment.  Please see the Shipping and Handling page for specific shipping options and pricings.

 STEP 7: Customer pays invoiced shipping cost of exchanged merchandise.

STEP 8: Jungle Hippie ships exchanged merchandise and sends tracking information to customer via email.

STEP 9: Customer receives Jungle Hippie merchandise, makes lots of memories and has a lot of fun in their new Jungle Hippie threads.  Jungle Hippie is grateful for you.

 

OPTION 2: Customer visits Jungle Hippie at 1 of 3 regular San Diego markets

STEP 1: Notify Jungle Hippie at info@junglehippie.com of the following information:

  • Your name.
  • Your order number – please put in the subject line of your email.
  • The item(s) you are returning.
  • The item(s) you would like to exchange for.

STEP 2: Jungle Hippie will confirm the item(s) you want are in stock and tell you so via email.

STEP 3: Customer chooses which local market and which day (within 30 days of original purchase) customer wants to come by.  Schedule is located on the Home page and the Shipping and Handling page.

STEP 4: Jungle Hippie gathers item(s) and awaits customer until the designated day.

STEP 5: Customer comes to local market with purchased merchandise where the soon to be returned merchandise is inspected – tags attached, unworn, no damage. 

  • IF THE MERCHANDISE IS DEEMED NOT RETURNABLE, CUSTOMER LEAVES WITH DAMAGED MERCHANDISE. Please refer to the Exchanges / returns / refunds will not be issued on the following: section at the beginning of this page for guidelines.

STEP 6: AFTER RETURNED MERCHANDISE IS APPROVED, Customer leaves returns with Jungle Hippie, receives chosen exchange(s) and goes home happy. 

STEP 7: Customer makes lots of memories and has a lot of fun in their new Jungle Hippie threads.  Jungle Hippie is grateful for customer.

 

-DAMAGED OR WRONG MERCHANDISE-

If you received damaged merchandise or the wrong merchandise, we want to fix this immediately!  

  • Customer has 7 days upon receiving damaged or wrong merchandise to notify Jungle Hippie of the damaged or wrong merchandise.
  • Customer has 30 days upon receiving damaged or wrong merchandise to return the damaged or wrong merchandise to Jungle Hippie.
  • If the 30-day requirement is not met, customer keeps damaged or wrong merchandise.

STEP 1: Notify Jungle Hippie at info@junglehippie.com of the following information:

  • Your name.
  • Your order number – please put in the subject line of your email.
  • The item(s) you are returning.
  • Why you are returning / what is wrong with the item(s). AT LEAST 2 PICTURES ARE REQUIRED.

STEP 2: Jungle Hippie reviews information.

  • IF MORE INFORMATION IS NEEDED, Jungle Hippie will notify you via email of what else is needed (i.e. better pictures).
  • IF THE MERCHANDISE IS DEEMED NOT RETURNABLE, Jungle Hippie will notify you via email. Please refer to the Exchanges / returns / refunds will not be issued on the following: section at the beginning of this page for guidelines.

STEP 3: AFTER MERCHANDISE IS DEEMED RETURNABLE, Jungle Hippie will notify you via email and include a return shipping label for the damaged or wrong merchandise with the return shipping address OR customer chooses a local market to come to.

STEP 4: Customer notifies Jungle Hippie the damaged or wrong merchandise is in transit or which local market customer will be coming to and when.

STEP 5: Jungle Hippie receives damaged or wrong merchandise.

STEP 6 can go 2 different ways:

STEP 6 – OPTION 1. (Returned) Customer is refunded for damaged or wrong merchandise with great apologies from Jungle Hippie.

STEP 7: Jungle Hippie looks forward to the opportunity of making you a happy customer in the future.

            or

STEP 6 – OPTION 2. (Exchanged) The damaged merchandise is exchanged for the same, but not damaged style.  The wrong merchandise is replaced with the right merchandise.  Customer is notified of the shipped exchanged merchandise with a tracking number via email.  OR, the merchandise is swapped in person at the chosen local market and customer goes home from the local market with fresh, undamaged, correct Jungle Hippie merchandise.

STEP 7: Customer makes lots of memories and has a lot of fun in their new Jungle Hippie threads.  Jungle Hippie is grateful for customer.

 

- LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS (if applicable)-

If you have not received your refund after 2 weeks of Jungle Hippie notifying you that your refund has been approved and issued, please contact your bank and / or credit card company before contacting Jungle Hippie. It may take more processing time before your refund is officially posted, but they should be able to tell you if it is pending.
